Tuition Free Community College (TFCC) Information Session

Workshop Description: 
College is too important to be limited to those who can afford it.  Representatives from the Mayor of Boston's Office of Workforce Development will describe how the Tuition Free Community College (TFCC) Plan works and how it can help your students achieve their goals. The Tuition-Free Community College (TFCC) Plan pays for up to three years of tuition and fees for all Boston residents pursuing an associate degree or certificate program at a partner college. Beginning Fall 2023, the City of Boston is expanding eligibility to include all Boston residents regardless of age, income, or immigration status.

Presenters:
James Sullivan and Aaron Park are AmeriCorps VISTA members in the Mayor's Office of Workforce Development. They support the program through outreach to educators and potential participants. They can be reached at tuitionfree@boston.gov. 

This workshop is free to staff of all Massachusetts non-profit ABE and ESOL Programs.
