Workshop Description:
This workshop will walk participants through the steps from brainstorming to production to sharing. Teachers will learn a step-by-step process to help students produce writing with strong beginnings, middles, and endings. The workshop will take teachers through the steps of stand-alone sentences to a paragraph to a three and five-paragraph essay and how good writing translates into real-world applications.

Workshop Learning Objectives - Participants will:

  • learn how to turn an idea into a strong one, three, or five-paragraph essay,
  • learn how to write strong beginnings, middles, and endings,
  • proofread and offer feedback to help one another become confident writers, and
  • understand and have fun with grammar and mechanics.
