First Literacy Workshop Registration (single session via Zoom)

How to Use Edpuzzle

Wednesday, December 15, 2021
10:30 AM - 12:00 PM via Zoom

Workshop Description:
In this workshop you will dive into Edpuzzle, an easy way to turn YouTube videos (or videos you record yourself) into interactive lessons. The lessons can contain multiple-choice and open-ended questions about the videos, as well as written or audio notes that you create. Learn how to harness the power of YouTube — a key language learning resource these days. This workshop will go over the basics of Edpuzzle, while also introducing those familiar with it to some helpful new features.

Presenter:
Andrew Shapira has worked in adult education for 12 years. He has presented workshops on Google apps and other online tools (Nearpod, Padlet, Edpuzzle, Quizizz, etc.) at First Literacy, SABES, and the MCAE Network conference. He is the coordinator of the English Language Learning and Literacy program at the Newton Free Library and an ESOL teacher at Framingham Adult ESL Plus.

This workshop is free to staff of all Massachusetts non-profit ABE and ESOL Programs.
