How to Use Quizizz

Friday, October 22, 2021
10:30 AM - 12:00 PM via Zoom

Workshop Description:

In this workshop you will explore Quizizz, a popular app for creating fun, engaging quizzes — including multiple-choice, short-answer, and open-ended questions — as well as lessons that incorporate slides and questions, effectively integrating content and formative assessment. Quizizz is easy to use and powerful for both online and in-person classes. This workshop will go over the basics of Quizizz, while also introducing those familiar with it to some helpful new features.

Presenter:

Andrew Shapira has worked in adult education for 12 years. He has presented workshops on Google apps and other online tools (Nearpod, Padlet, Edpuzzle, Quizizz, etc.) at First Literacy, SABES, and the MCAE Network conference. He is the coordinator of the English Language Learning and Literacy program at the Newton Free Library and an ESOL teacher at Framingham Adult ESL Plus.

This workshop is free to staff of all Massachusetts non-profit ABE and ESOL Programs.
