Working with adult students with different background knowledge and aptitudes is always a challenge.  In this workshop we will explore some strategies and tools for differentiating your HiSET/GED curriculum in order to challenge and engage students while giving them the knowledge and skills they need to earn their high school equivalency diploma.

Goals and Objectives for Session 1:
~ Identify assessment strategies that can help spot HiSET/GED skill and knowledge gaps.
~ Evaluate tools that can be used in 4-6 Grade Level Equivalent and 6+ Grade Level Equivalent classrooms.
~ Brainstorm tools and strategies that can be used in your programming.

Goals and Objectives for Session 2:
~ Reflect on and share the tools and strategies you tried out in your classroom.
~ Explore more resources and tools for diffentiated instruction.
~ Create a plan for integrating more differentiated instruction into your curriculum.

Participants are asked to commit to both sessions. Space is limited, so register early!
