Workshop Description:
Learn the most up-to-date High School Equivalency testing protocols and what has changed in the COVID era. This workshop will cover strategies for preparation, explore the differences and similarities between the tests, and address your questions about these new testing options. Help your students succeed by staying informed on the latest information.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to
- explain to their students how to access these new testing options;
- adjust their curriculum to help prepare their students for this new testing platform;
- teach their students the similarities and differences between the GED and HiSET.
Presenter:
Michael Farma has worked for the City of Boston for over 20 years designing and overseeing GED and HiSet testing. He now oversees High School Equivalency (HSE) testing centers throughout the State of Massachusetts.
This workshop is free to staff of all Massachusetts non-profit ABE and ESOL Programs.
