Tech In and Beyond the classroom!

Together we will look at practical ways to engage both educators and students in technology in the classroom, with practical examples and ideas to spark curiosity for technology learning beyond the classroom.
Workshop Learning Objectives - Participants will learn how to:
- Attendees will take away practical ideas on how to activate a range of technology in the classroom.
- Explore and use AI/XR and other tools to build engaging lessons.
- Confidently engage students to feel agency over their learning with practical technology tips and resources.
Presenter:
Caroline McKinnon is the Director of Adult Education and CTE at ASCD+ISTE. She brings over 20 years of experience working with adult learners around the globe with a focus on survivors of torture, war and trafficking. Caroline has been exploring the intersection of technology and literacy for many years, working to demystify technology and bring equity into the world of tech.
This workshop is free to staff of all Massachusetts non-profit ABE and ESOL Programs.
